The Puffed Posts Winter Set Crochet Pattern

the puffed posts winter set

There’s nothing better in winter than a going for a walk on the beach while being wrapped up nice and cosy in your favourite hat, scarf and gloves. That feeling of being wrapped up in a big cosy hug, knowing you will stay warm no matter how brisk that sea breeze is.

Well I wanted that beach walk feeling no matter where my feet took me on a cold day, so I chose James C. Brett marble chunky yarn to make my Puffed Posts Winter Set.

This beautiful pattern has been added to my Lifetime Pattern Pass, but is also available to purchase on it’s own.

This yarn just screams seaside to me, with all the colours you could possibly find on a walk to the beach. It was just the perfect choice for this cosy hat, scarf and fingerless mitt crochet set.

The scarf is extra wide and fabulously long, so you can wrap up super cosy. It features 3 rows of puffed post stitches which gives such a beautiful look and texture that just add to the super cosy feel.

The crochet beanie hat has several rows of puffs going up from the brim to the top. This bottom up crochet hat pattern works up quickly and is topped off with a pompom. After all what is a beanie without a showstopping pompom? I got mine from CraftyBirdUK on Etsy

The fingerless mitts are ribbed around the wrists so ensure they stay put and are snug so they can easily be tucked under your coat sleeves. They have 2 rows of puffs going up the back of the hands.

The whole set can be made with 3 balls of James C. Brett Marble chunky, but this can be substituted for 1100 yards of any yarn that calls for a 6mm hook.

You don’t need to be an expert to make this pattern. It is an easy enough project for an advanced beginner who knows how to decrease stitches in the round.

So what do you need to make this super cosy matching hat, scarf and glove crochet set?
